April 30th is traditionally a festive day in Holland as we celebrate “Koninginnedag” but today in Apeldoorn a car tried to attack the open touring bus the royal family was traveling in.
The driver of the car drove through the crowd and fencing and tried to hit the bus. Luckily the car sustained enough damage that he missed his target.
As of this writing, 4 people died, 19 are injured of which 5 are in critical condition. A news video can be found here: dutch news video
